Fra’Moderno table, recovering the shapes of the past
Inspired by the refectory table, by reworking its shapes without distorting them, we have created, in a modern key, an object capable of recalling its history.
Two parallelepipeds form the base, the raw iron softens, showing every grain, each weld is designed to delimit a space and an iron bar joins the structure, harmonizing it.
The top comes almost by itself – made with minimally worked chestnut beams, expertly aged to make all the imperfections that make it unique even more visible.
The grouting is the result of careful and obsessive research aimed at creating a pleasant play of light.
This table was created to steal the scene and be the undisputed protagonist of the environment.
